404 Page Not Found

"404 - Page Not Found" is the error page displayed whenever someone requests a page that’s simply not available on your site.  The reason for getting a 404 error could be a URL mistype, bad link on your site, page that was removed or renamed, etc.  Since there is no web page found to display, the web server shows the friendly Page Not Found message.  The default 404 error page is shown below.


 

How to create your own custom 404 error page

Login to your COOLSite Admin
Click Pages (left menu)
Click Hidden Pages (tab)
Click Add New Page
Name the page 404 , choose page type Free Form , Click Add Page
Edit the new "404" page and update it to show whatever you prefer
Once done, when you visit a page name that does not exist, it should display your new 404 page content
