Overview:
As you browse the web over time, your Internet browser's performance may degrade and become slower than normal. This is typically due to the collection of Temporary Internet Files and Cookies that your Internet browser stores on your computer, as you visit websites. Clearing your Temporary Internet Files / Cookies / Cache typically helps restore your Internet browser's performance again.
Internet Explorer:
1. Click on the "Tools" menu above and select "Internet Options".
2. Under the "General" tab (Browsing history), click on the "Delete" button and then place a check next to "Preserve Favorites website data", "Temporary Internet files and website files", and "Cookies and website data".
3. Click on the "Delete" button below, followed by the "OK" button below.
4. Close all open Internet Explorer windows / tabs and re-open the Internet Explorer application.
Firefox:
1. Click on the "Tools" menu above and select "Options...".
2. Click on the "Advanced" icon above and then click on the "Network" tab.
3. Click on the "Clear Now" buttons within the "Cached Web Content" and "Offline Web Content and User Data" sections.
4. Click on the "Privacy" icon above and then click on the "clear your recent history" link under the "History" section.
5. Select "Everything" from the "Time range to clear" drop-down box and ensure that all options below are selected.
6. Click on the "OK" button below.
7. Click on the "remove individual cookies" link under the "History" section and then click on the "Remove All Cookies" button.
8. Click on the "Close" button, followed by the "OK" button below.
9. Close all open Firefox windows / tabs and re-open the Firefox application.
Chrome:
1. Click on the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the browser and select "Tools > Clear browsing data...".
2. Select "the beginning of time" from the "Obliterate the following items from" drop-down selection box.
3. Ensure that only "Empty the cache" is checked and then click on the "Clear browsing data" button below.
4. When this process has been completed, the "Clear browsing data" window will close automatically.
5. Close out all open Chrome windows and re-open the Chrome application.
