Setting up a Forum page on your site
OPTION 1 / BASIC SETUP:

1. Click on "Pages" from the menu on the left in your admin area and then click on the "Add New Page" button above.

2. Enter a Page Name for this page and select "Forum" from the Page Type drop-down selection box.

3. Click on the "Add Page" button.

4. You should now see this page listed as the last page on the "Visible Pages" tab, and will need to double-click on the corresponding "Public" text under the "Security" column, and select the "Registration Required" option.

5. Configure the settings on the pop-up window as needed and click on the "Save" button below (even if you did not change anything here).

6. Click on "Registered Users > Manage User Groups" from the menu on the left and then click on the "Permissions" link next to the "Registered Users" group.

7. Click and drag the new Forum page that you added from the "Available Pages" column into the "Current Pages" column and click on the "Save Changes" button below when done.

8. You can now view this new Forum page on your site and will notice a login panel at the top of the page where you can either register for an account or login if you already have one.  Once logged in, the user will be able to create new topics if they'd like and/or reply back to existing topics / messages.

NOTE: By default, whenever someone logs in to the Forum and creates new topics / replies back to existing topics / messages, these are automatically approved, in that the content / messages that they have added, will be posted immediately on the Forum.  You can however delete / mark inappropriate content / messages as unapproved, so that they no longer show up on the Forum.  To do so, you will need to log into your admin area and click on the "Forum Administration" link from the menu on the left.

If you are interested in a Forum/MessageBoard with more administrative control, we offer a phpBB forum.  See option # 2 below for more information on this.
