Links Page setup

Managing a links page is rather simple. Add a links page by going to "Add Page" in the admin and clicking on the "links" button or edit an existing links page by going to "List Pages" in the admin and clicking on the name of the page (make sure it says "Links" under "Page Type").

When editing a links page, you will see the following options at the top of the page:

Manage Links - This is where you manage existing links on the page.

Add Link - Click here to add a new link to the page. You can add an image to appear next to each link. The "Title" is the text that the customer will click on to activate the hyperlink. Copy and paste or type the URL into the "URL" field. Examples of URLs are
http://www.colony1.net  and http://www.google.com . The "Open In New Window" field allows you to choose how the hyperlinked page will open in the customers browser. If "Yes" is selected, then when a customer clicks on the hyperlink, the page will open in a new browser window. Selecting "No" will load the page in the same browser window as your page, replacing your page in the customer's browser. Selecting "IFRAME" will open the new page inside your page. The page will display in the body area of your page. Your navigation menu, header, and footer will appear around the new page. Make sure to click "Add Link" when you are done and want to save the link.

Edit Header/Footer - This allows you to add content to the top (header) and bottom (footer) of the links page. This is useful if you want to add text or images to the top or bottom of the links page.

Rename - This allows you to rename the title of the links page.

Meta Tags - This allows you to add a meta description or meta keywords to the page (see related knowledge base articles for more info on meta tags).

View Page - Click here to preview the page as it would appear on your site.
