In order to do a DNS Transfer for an existing domain name that you already own, so that the domain now points to your Colony One site, you will need to do the following.

1) Login to your COOLSite admin area and click on "Domain Registration" from the menu on the left.  Next, under the "Connect Your Own Domain to Your COOLsite" section, type in the domain that you will be transferring/pointing to your Colony One site, and click on "Connect This Domain Now" when done.

2) You need to log into the domain registrar that you purchased this domain from using the username and password given to you at the time of the purchase.

 

Once you are logged in, you will want to "manage your name-servers"

 

The names of our servers are:

 

DNS1.Colony1.net

DNS2.Colony1.net

 

Once you complete the process and submit the information, it usually takes anywhere from 48-72 hours to point to your new website.  If you have any questions regarding this, please let us know.  Thanks!

NOTE: Once the name servers on the domain has been changed to point to your Colony One site, you will no longer be able to access the content from your previous website / the previous website itself (if the domain was pointed to another website prior to changing the name servers).
