By default we allow you to use our *.colony1.net secure certificate for the checkout area to reduce costs on your end. You will see this in the address bar of your browser when you click Go To Check Out. So basically upon check out, the browser is going from your domain and then redirected to *.colony1.net until the checkout is complete and then it goes back to your domain.  To prevent going to *.colony1.net we offer a personal domain SSL - Secure Certificate through Comodo or you can use an SSL purchased from another source.

Getting a SSL installed that was purchased outside of Colony One
There is a $70 fee for Colony One to install an SSL that was purchased somewhere else.
After an SSL Certificate is purchased the provider will request a CSR text file to generate the Certificate.
In order for us to begin this process the install fee mentioned above must be completed. After the payment is made we will email you the CSR and you can foward it to the company you purchased the SSL from. After they complete the request you will be sent a SSL certificate zip file which you will foward back to us (Colony One) for final installation.
