Ebay Set up/List Items

To Setup...

To set up your ebay account go to Configuration>Ebay Setup in your Admin area.   Once you have registered and logged in you will be set with your account and will be able to actively edit your products and add listings of your products at any time.   

Note: Your eBay username and password are NEVER stored in the C.O.O.L. Site system. Colony One will NEVER ask you for your eBay username and password. Please do not disclose your eBay username and password in any communication with us. It is important that you keep this information private.

To List Items...

 

After you completed your set up (in configuration) you can now go to edit/view products and select the product you wish to list on ebay.  After you have selected it you can go to top and select "List Item On Ebay".  You will now have a few fields to fill out before you can list your item...

Item Title -The current product title will be loaded, but can be changed for the ebay listing and it will still not affect the normal product title.

Item Description - The current product description will be loaded but can be changed for the ebay listing and it will still not affect the normal product description. Below the description it will also list your available shipping methods that are configured in the admin for customer knowledge.

Category 1 - This will give you the categories on eBay to list your products in. You Must enter this field in. Once a catagory is picked you must choose a subcategory if it pops up.

Category 2 - (Optional) You can choose a second set of categories for your product to show up on eBay.
**Note you cannot use the same catagory listing as you did previously, you must choose a brand new sub catagory.

Minimum Bid - Enter in the mimimum bid in the format XX.XX and no dollar sign.

Duration - Choose the amount of days (1,3,5,7,10) for your product to be listed on Ebay.

Location - The current address we have for you in our system will be loaded, but can be changed for listing on Ebay.

Counter - A counter is a small image in the .gif file format that resides on your auction. The counter's purpose is to track how many people visit your auction to view your item.

Include Product Photo - This drop down box will show you photos that you currently have for this product and will let you select one which will show on Ebay.


Note: Once you have completed the information click "Confirm Details" to post on eBay.

 

Once you have clicked Confirm your item will now be listed and ready to be bid on.
